This Tennessee town is home to the Nissan Smyrna Assembly Plant, which is the largest automotive assembly plant in the US. It began manufacturing cars in 1983 and has since manufactured more than 10 million vehicles. In 2012, the Nissan Leaf battery was introduced at the Smyrna Assembly Plant. In addition to Nissan Leafs, this plant also assembles five other models. It is 20 minutes from Nashville, and so is this community. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of events in the town.
