The Tennessee Performing Arts Center is located in the James K. Polk Cultural Complex at 505 Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville. The Tennessee PAC covers a city block between Union and Deaderick Streets. The James K. Polk Cultural Complex is a great place for cultural events, but the TPAC has even more to offer. In addition to presenting Broadway shows, TPAC also has a comprehensive educational program. The Center is home to three resident performing arts groups, including the Nashville Ballet, Nashville Opera Association, and Tennessee Repertory Theatre. The TPAC and the Tennessee Repertory Theatre are separate, but the theaters are both hosted at TPAC. TPAC is a safe, professional environment for both students and performers. Guests are encouraged to bring a jacket and hat, as the Tennessee PD has security at the theater. Another great place to visit also.
